Flora Fabyan

Flora Fabyan is an experienced legal practitioner with a career spanning more than 20 years in the financial services 

sector. She holds an LL.M in International Financial and Commercial Law from King’s College London, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Lagos Business School (Pan-African University), and a Bachelor of Law (LL.B Hons) from University College London. Flora was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003 and has since demonstrated significant leadership in legal and financial governance.

She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) Nigeria, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) UK. Flora is also a member of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria and is currently pursuing her Chartered Governance Institute UK (CGI) qualification.

After working in Investment Banking for 10 years, Flora joined BOI in 2015 as the Group Head, Legal (North) and has since served in various key roles in BOI as Group Head, Legal (South) and had stints in the Corporate Secretariat and Research and Strategy Divisions.  Over the past 5 years, she has been an integral part of many cross-border initiatives with BOI and other multinational DFIs, deepening her understanding of impact financing in different areas of the economy. Her proven track record and vast knowledge of corporate law, finance, and governance will be invaluable as she leads BOI-ITC into its next phase of growth and development.
